- অতীতকালে কোন কাজ কিছুক্ষন ধরে চলছিল বোঝালে Past Continuous Tens হয়। (Past Continuous Tense is used when the action was continued for some time in the past)
- এই Tense এ বাংলা ক্রিয়ার শেষে ‘তেছিল’, ‘তেছিলে’, ‘তেছিলাম’ ইত্যাদি থাকে।
Sentence structure:
[Subject + was/were + Verb + ing) + Object (যদি থাকে)]
- আমি ফুটবল খেলছিলাম = I was plying foot ball.
- আমরা ফুটবল খেলছিলাম = We were plying foot ball.
- তুমি/তোমরা ফুটবল খেলছিলে = You were plying foot ball.
- সে ফুটবল খেলছিল = He/She was plying foot ball.
- তাহারা ফুটবল খেলিতেছিল = They were plying foot ball.
- গত সন্ধ্যায় সে কি করছিল? = What was he/she doing in the last evening?
